Badass Snake

When people think of dangerous, badass snakes, the first thing that may come to mind would probably be the King Cobra, rattlesnakes, or the Black Mamba for those who are more educated in Herpetology. However, for my textbook definition of "badass", I am looking for size, toxicity, danger factor, and family reputation. My choice is the recently discovered Giant Spitting Cobra.
As far as size, they can reach 9 feet in length. This falls short from the King Cobra (18 ft), but it beats out the rattlesnakes (max of 8 ft) and Black Mamba (8.5 ft). Though, it does beat out the King Cobra with venom quantity, as well as any other snake on the planet. While the King Cobra can only inject .6 ml (a generous dose), the G.S. cobra squirts out 6 ml. Not looking so small now, huh? G.S. cobras also have a toxicity of 3 g beating out the King Cobra, rattlesnakes, and possibly the Black Mamba.
Then there is the danger factor. You probably can't really outrun spit. You probably would have little time to react anyways considering that the Giant Spitting Cobra has excellent camouflage and a quick temper. I'm not challenging any person to prove me wrong, but I'm sure you would loose if you tried.

Finally, there is the family reputation. Cobras are mean, dangerous, and fast snakes. There really isn't any cuddly factor to them. Rarely has it been said that cobras are lovable critters.
Got its own Yu-Gi-Oh card
These snakes live in lowland areas of Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia. It seems that most deadly snakes live in this area, but the Giant Spitting Cobra can compete; it is a truly badass snake.
